This beautiful town of Hayuliang lies at the confluence of the Lohit and Delai rivers in the Anjaw district. Hayuliang means “the place of my liquor”. It enjoys pleasant, cool and salubrious climate. The panoramic view of the confluence of the rivers and scenic surroundings make the place worth visiting.

This program is designed to put these wonderful places in the tourism map to those people who search for a new and unique place to visit. The infrastructure of these places are not very advance or you might even say very rudimentary but the pureness these places have in themselves, the satisfaction they offer to the traveller while they drive through the bumpy road and finally interacting with the hospitable local folks makes it a truly magnificent holiday one might search for.

Day 1

Arrival in Dibrugarh – Tinsukia

Welcome at Dibrugarh airport and drive to Tinsukia. Night in hotel.

Day 2

Tinsukia – Miao

Road to Miao. This road is known as a Stilwell Road which will be up to Jagun. Now you wll proceed to Namchik Gate to enter Arunachal Pradesh. Night in circuit house or Eco Camp.

Day 3

Miao

Explore full day inside Namdapha National Park. Trek in the forest. Night incircuit house or Eco Camp.

Day 4

Miao – Tezu

Today is a long drive to Tezu. On the way, visit of Chongkham, Namsai Buddha Vihar, Manmow Buddhist monastery and the Golden Pagoda. You will cross Lesu, Chakma and Khamptis villages. The Khamptis are Buddhists (Hinayana Sect). All these tribes have their own special dances and clothes. In the afternoon, you will visit a Digaru Mishmi tribal village. Night in Hotel.

Day 5

Tezu

Full day exploration of Tezu and its nearby tribal villages. Night in Hotel. Option: Road trip to Roing-Anini village (5 days / 4 nights)

Day 6

Tezu – Hayuliang

Head for the hills-literally! Drive to the Hayuliang, along the picturesque Lohit River Experience the traditional rope-pully crossing of the river. Visit authentic Mishmi village. Night in village.

Day 7

Hayuliang

Full day visit of remote and traditional Mishmi villages. Night in Circuit House. Option: - Rafting on the Lohit River (7 days/6 nights) - Trek in the jungle to discover a crash site of WW II CNAC plane (8 days/7 nights) - Ghalum Sal and Ti Rivers Trekking (11 days/10 nights)

Day 8

Hayuliang – Tezu

Today you will have to drive back to Tezu, visiting some villages on the way. Night at Hotel.

Day 9

Tezu – Roing

Today drive to Roing. En route, visit of the ancient town of Bhismarknagar and its settlements. Night in Circuit house/Hotel.

Day 10

Roing – Tinsukia

On this day, post breakfast you will move back to Tinsukia via ParshuramKund. Stop at Lohit View Point to have a bird’s eye view of Lohit River. By evening reach Tinsukia and night in hotel.

Day 11

Tinsukia – Dibrugarh Airport

Transfer to Dibrugarh airport (according to your flight schedule). End of our services.
